Gigapixel Panorama

Gigapixel Panoramas
Developed from techniques used for the Mars Rover Expedition, the Gigapan panoramic system (www.gigapan.com) and software is used extensively by Glenn. His resulting gigapixel images are then printed by Glenn on canvas stretcher-bar frames to create panoramas in outstanding impact. These panoramas are typically formed by stitching together often over 100 separate telephoto images seamlessly to form the overall panorama. This creates the outstanding detail and clarity throughout Glenn’s panorama prints. A normal image from a professional digital camera is typically in the megapixel range, but by combining many images in a panorama, Glenn is able to create panoramas in the gigapixel range, or well over 1000 megapixels.
